Love ! is the theme for the entrance display case in the library for the month of February. Love stories, as well as books on the science and psychology of love, are featured as we focus on the prads and pitfalls of love and segue on to our Love Slam on February 18th. So whether you think that “love is a many splendored thing” or “love stinks”, there’s something for everyone @ your library.

In the display case on the lower level of the library, “Civil Rights Heroes” are featured paying tribute to all who have worked and are working in the struggle for equal opportunity under the law. From books on the leadership of Martin Luther King, Jr. , Coretta Scott King and Rev. Jesse Jackson to the personal stories of Rosa Parks and Ruby Bridges, these books bring focus to those individuals and policies that have contributed to the advancement of civil rights for all.
