The Fisher-Watkins Library book displays are a means of highlighting special events and topics by focusing on the books and materials available within the library’s collection.

October Displays

Election 2004 is the subject of the new library entrance display for the month of November. Inspired by this year’s presidential election and our own all-school mock election, the display features books on the history of our election process, political parties and candidates as well as current information on the 2004 election. Whether Republican, Democrat or Third-party, every citizen should appreciate the liberties we take for granted and stop by and check out what’s electing @ your library.

display that help to create at the library entrance.

In keeping with Teen Read Week’s It’s Alive!! theme for October, the display case on the lower level of the library is featuring horror stories and thrillers selected from the collection. From the classic horror stories of Bram Stoker and Edgar Allan Poe to new thrillers from Dean Koontz and Stephen King, thrillers have long been the favorite reads of teens and adults alike. So take the time to come down and check out what’s thrilling @ your library.
